Welcome to my very first First Line Friday & Friday56! I found this blogging feature at bibliophilebree and wanted to join. This actually consists of two weekly features, First Line Friday was started by Reading is my Superpower and is going strong since 2016; while Friday56 was started by My Head Is Full Of Books. The goal is to connect with other book bloggers and find new books for your tbr. It also doubles as a fun & easy way to provide weekly content for me. I’m excited to see where this takes me!

I literally started this book today, only a few hours ago. I obviously watched the movie adaption on Netflix in January but didn’t feel the urge to read the book until the warmer months came around. So far I am liking it! The protagonist has an outgoing personality and the author’s humor always cracks me up.

I’ve only read one Emily Henry book and I didn’t know about the Netflix series. Have you read all her books? Do you prefer reading romance or are you an omnivore in your reading choices? I read very widely but prefer historical fiction or literary fiction but I do read a lot of nonfiction, too.

I’m only starting my Emily Henry journey as I don’t read a lot of contemporary romance books, but hers have me hooked so far. Usually I read more fantasy / sci-fi in all age groups but I am trying to read more non-fiction!
